RAINDROP SHIBORI JUMPSUIT
Editor’s Note
A delicate blend between traditional Indian aesthetic and modern-day silhouette, this shibori-dyed jumpsuit in dark black, boasts a cinched waist and tulip, gathered hem.
Shibori, a Japanese dyeing technique adopted by India, dates back to the 8th century. Originally, the dye used was indigo, madder, and purple root and involves folding and binding the fabric into different patterns. In India, Bandhani dyeing techniques also derive from this method.
*Due to the dyeing technique used, there are tiny holes and imperfections to create this beautiful piece.*
